Shared shuttle - Antigua to Río Dulce (one way)

Shared shuttle - Antigua to Río Dulce (one way)

Duration: 6 hours / Difficulty: Easy

Rio Dulce is located on Lake Izabal and is a connecting point for Livingston, Flores & Puerto Barrios. If staying in Rio Dulce, we recommend a visit to San Felipe Castle, a small Spanish fort, or Finca Paraiso, a waterfall fed by hot springs that falls into a cold, clear pool. Most people who come to the Rio Dulce area stay in a jungle lodge along the river. From Rio Dulce, you can visit Livingston and see Guatemala's small Garifuna population (descendent's from Africans) and only white sand Caribbean beach.

Travelers Tip: If going to Livingston you can get a "lancha" from the nearest dock to take you from Rio Dulce or your lodge, down to the town. You can do this in a short day trip.

The Shuttle will collect you in Antigua and take you to the bus terminal in Guatemala City where you will be given your ticket for the larger pullman bus to your destination.

Your ticket is confirmed once you have received a confirmation email with you Due South Travels voucher attached. If you do not receive this confirmation email or have any other questions please contact us at info@duesouthtravels.com or WhatsApp: +(502) 5969 3795.

No cancellation is permitted on transports once purchased.
